Any way for txt2img api call to save png file same as webui web interface does?

Hello!
Is there any way to make txt2img save png same as generating via web interface does? I've been searching for a while but can't figure it out. Appreciate the help, thanks!

I mean save to file, instead of/in addition to returning image byte string

When you generate the image in txt2img it automatically is saved to your outputs folder. If you want you can click the "save button" which will also save the image to your log folder (assuming you left the default save locations in settings). You will also get a "download" link, which will let you save the image where ever you want. You can also right click on the generated image and choose "save image as" to save the image where ever you want (at least in firefox but im pretty sure most browsers allow you to right click and save an image).

Yep, works when generating via web ui. However it does not save when doing via api call. I have found in processing.py's process_images_inner function the place where it's deciding whether to save, and for some reason do_not_save_samples is true. I have commented it out for the sake of testing and now the .png is being saved. I'll debug more to figure out why do_not_save_samples is true and report back here.

@rudyyroman Have you found anything about do_not_save_samples?
I tried commenting out that line and there is still no png saved when called through the API

I ended up commenting out the condition as showed in the screenshot in my previous message and hence forcing it to save

Anyone know how we can get an URL to the generated image through the API call?
