last time when 2110 upgrade and broke compatibility, no alert is triggered. There are two ways to improve so that it can catch similar incidence:

  • health check: check a wider range of RPCs, and also check RPC results, check eth_call not only for read only operations, but also for tx
  • datadog monitor can probably also check RPC results, instead of only checking timeout
