We have been using Datadog for logs and APM for quite some time for many Spring Boot 3.3 apps running on Java 21.0.4 without any issue.
We recently add a new Spring Boot app using virtual thread and we have issues. Indeed, Datadog client fails to send metrics after some time as if the app was shutdown. The only way to make it working again is to restart the app container (ECS task).
We are using dd-trace-java 1.37.1.
