Detect the main color of pictures

Mission

Write a script that will go through the whole list of achievements using the API, detects the main color of the icon, find the closest color in the valid palette that matches it, and set this color into the database.

Why?
Our current API only stores the background color, but we would like to be able to manipulate the icons a little bit more, so we need the icon color in the db as well.
