Objective

Documentation indicates API keys can be specified in ~/owm.txt and has an option defined in settingsmeta.yml. Ensure these keys are used when available or update docs to reflect actual behavior.

Initial Implementation Requirements

  • Ensure support for local calls to the OWM API
  • Update documentation to match actual behavior

Other Considerations

  • A local option should be supported at least until a self-hosted backend option is available for end-users
