Option to log messages in groups (with log visible to group owner)

We want to run the chatroom example in classes, but teachers are afraid that students will send bad messages to each other. If they're in a group, the messaging is somewhat restricted, but they additionally want the ability to view a log of messages sent between users in the group with timing/user/project metadata included.
