The Problem

Polls are a useful and common feature which is missing from Nheko. I always need to switch clients when I want to vote on a poll or view their results.

The Solution

MSC3381 specifies the „new“ poll feature already supported in Element and other clients. The feature is ready to be merged at any moment now (FCP is finalized) and so it seems like a good time to implement it.

Alternatives

For an initial implementation, just showing poll results would be fine, since this is needed much more often than voting on a poll itself.
