This would be great, with so short block times the catch-up time is very long and it also requires an archive beacon node to sync

Hi any news on this? the snapshot is now over 2 months old and impossible to catch up after that. There's 30 million blocks to complete, at 200K blocks/hour that's a good week of catching up, even when using a snapshot -- that's useless for anyone trying to really run Nitro nodes.

FYI there's a latest txt file https://snapshot.arbitrum.foundation/arb1/latest-pruned.txt that shows the latest available snapshot, seems to be available in parts now, the init code should pick it up automatically when using --init.latest
