To function basically as intended, the app is designed to only request storage permission. Turning on this permission is to allow the software to read device storage and also modify storage content. Any information that may be collected with the enablement of this permission is locally stored on your device in which the software is installed and there is no means any of that information can be collected by the developer.
The app is also capable of having full network access. This capability is so web content can be saved and also allow the developer to get crash reports so it can be fixed.
These permissions can be revoked when they are not needed, this is possible on devices running Android 6.0 upward.
Device information is collected when a crash report is submitted.
For feature requests, the developer may also capture the unsupported share request which may include the filename/URL.
This app does not record usage information, however, usage statistics are captured by Google with respect to their guidelines & policy.
Crash reports collected by Google are used for the sole purpose of assisting the development of the application. When providing crash reports you have the option to submit additional system information.
There are no security risks that may likely occur while using Image Saver software except your phone is physically compromised. The developers of Image Saver assume no responsibility for data integrity issues caused by using this application.
