Feature Request: Remove Orphaned Packages #170
Comments
This could be included in the view menu as orphans. When you click on this, you should only see orphaned packages listed to be removed. |
Would be good idea to let use the list as : pacman -Qdt , just in view , list you see the installed or not installed whatever, new topic Orphan, that showe pacman -Qdt list... |
yes, but only show installed orphans |
This is something I'm heavily interested in seeing supported so I may have a go at it myself sometime soon when I've got the time. It doesn't sound too difficult to just add an orphaned packages category to view but I'd have to do a little more research to get a feature to uninstall orphans automatically when removing packages. |
Is this still planned to do? I recently switched from Pamac to Octopi but this is probably the only feature I really miss and it really sounds like it's easy to implement (though what would I know, lol). |
Hi, any updates on this feature? |
Hi there, great program, however, it is missing a function to remove packages that don't belong to any packages.
