When running otfautohint on an edited UFO without running checkoutlinesufo first, the output may be

ERROR: Glyph 'flex.02' has been edited. You must first run 'checkOutlines' before running 'autohint'. Skipping.
ERROR: Glyph 'flex.03' has been edited. You must first run 'checkOutlines' before running 'autohint'. Skipping.
ERROR: Glyph 'flex.04' has been edited. You must first run 'checkOutlines' before running 'autohint'. Skipping.

This seems to be an outdated error message. I’d expect the tool names to reflect the real-world tool names:
checkOutlines → checkoutlinesufo
autohint → otfautohint
