Reading the doc https://aiida-workgraph.readthedocs.io/en/latest/concept/task.html these things should be clarified:

  • When to use task over the other building blocks? (It is mentioned when creating a while loop to use a task instead of a task.calcfunction https://aiida-workgraph.readthedocs.io/en/latest/howto/while.html but the explanation is not sufficient)
  • What is the difference aiida_workgraph.task.calcfunction to aiida.engine.calcfunction

Might be useful to link to aiida-core for further explanations of the aiida-core building blocks.
