Hi,

Love this for a calendar/date picker, but I'm going to end up being forced to use http://www.eyecon.ro/bootstrap-datepicker/ for a particular filter I have where the user searches by effective month/year. It would be great to have an option in pickadate that allows for other types of date-selection besides full calendar.

I'm glad you like :)

I'm not sure I understand what you mean by "searches by effective month/year". Do you mean being able to select an entire month slot?

Yes, so instead of a full calendar, it would simply be a list of months. I referenced the eyecon.ro datepicker because of how it integrates a month/year picker as an option that allows it to be included/excluded with the standard calendar or instantiated on its own.

Here's a screenshot of what I did to the before-mentioned datepicker to get a month/year picker.

Oh I right, I see.. that would be kinda neat.

The picker has an “extend” API which could be used to create custom pickers - such as this one. The docs for this won’t be available until after v3 is out though. I'll leave this issue open till then because this would be a great example to show as an extension.

I understand this is still an open ticket, but is there any progress or ETA on this very cool feature? :)

Hey !
Just love your pickadate version 👍
Is it possible to select only the months on the current version?

Is the month only view available on 4.0.0 yet ? If so, can you explain how to get this feature to work? Awesome work! Thanks.

Just pick month/year, most used in credit card information. So it would be very helpful and useful.

Is there a way yet to show only days and months (no years and weekdays) in the calendar with this plugin?
