Fetch/pull does not work with password-based SSH

Using a remote with an ssh:// URL. Using password-based authentication. Instead of prompting for a password, it says:

Remote Repo Not Available

Either you're not connected to the internet, or the server hung up unexpectedly.

I'm having the same problem here. It's really sad, cause I like the rest of the application.

I got that same error message as well, when working with unfuddle. Seemed to choke on a new SSH host key. As a work-around, I used the command line to do a git pull, accepted the new key and it works fine now. So I think it's just an issue with accepting a new host key?
