Not working on ChromeOS with Android App

• Platforms: Android
• Device OS Version and Device: Asus Chromeflip C302 + ChromeOS 65 + Android 7.1

Issue description

A perfectly working Android app is not working on ChromeOS + Android.
"Could not detect whether card.io card scanning is available".
The app requested permissions and the permissions were given.
Manual entry works of course.
I know this is a fairly new environment/OS, I can do tests if you ever need.
