Hackathon category and automatic expiry

While hackathons would typically belong in the "code" category I feel like their limited time and open-endedness makes them a slightly different category.

To have a more automated workflow it would be good to be able to specify an expiry date after which the entry will automatically rendered as expired (e.g. by automatic daily builds of the static site).
