At the moment, the primary group of a SAM site is always attacked and destroyed first before the secondary group (which contains the SHORAD units). This means that even on SAM sites that have been rendered ineffective (i.e. search/track radar is down), DEAD aircraft will still attack the useless launchers first instead of going after the SHORAD units in the secondary group that are actually a threat.

I propose two ways to improve this.

  1. Group prioritisation to be automatically flipped when DEAD is planned against any SAM site whose primary group has been rendered ineffective (i.e. no longer has a threat range). DEAD flights would therefore attack the secondary group first, followed by the primary group.

  2. Give the player a way to manually flip the group priority for DEAD flights (a drop down menu either in the Create Flight or General Flight Settings windows would do). This would be very handy against certain SAM sites that have high priority targets in their secondary group (such as SA-15 TORs) that you want to destroy when tackling the primary group.
