Tried it numerous times on Macos Big Sur. Unfortunately, it did not connect to the extension and gives error. Please see the screenshot.

Works for me on Firefox Developer Edition:

image

macOS Big Sur: 11.6 (20G165)

I downloaded and installed extension from here:
https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/search-tabs-bookmarks-history/

Then downloaded and imported Firefox-Assistant-0.2.2.alfredworkflow from here:
https://github.com/deanishe/alfred-firefox/releases/tag/v0.2.2

Clicked on the Extension in Firefox's extension bar and went from red to green:

Hit shortcut to run alfred, typed bm, then received a macos warning telling me I need to move alfred-firefox to trash. I hit cancel, then opened System Preferences > Security & Privacy > and hit the Allow Anyway button:

I repeated the alfred shortcut, typed bm, then had to tell macOS I want to open alfred-firefox and it works amazingly well now:

Hope that helps 🤞

Side note: I also recommend having a look at the installation instructions:
https://github.com/deanishe/alfred-firefox/blob/master/doc/setup.md

I was able to get this to work following the process above. 👍
