MINUTES

Project Spotlight

Isaac Levin gave a Project Spotlight update. He is working to confirm an interview with Troy Hunt to discuss the HIBP project. He also plans to interview the Wix project in July. The Marketing Committee discussed the lack of response from the project maintainers regarding interviews. They discussed adding the Project Spotlight interview as a checklist item for all onboarded projects.

ACTIONS:

• Beth Massi to contact the Reactor project maintainers for a Project Spotlight.
• Beth Massi to contact NPE’s project maintainers to confirm a Project Spotlight interview date.
• Isaac Levin to create a Project Spotlight timeslot spreadsheet in Teams.

Budget FY22

The Marketing Committee reviewed the FY22- Budget. The Marketing Committee will request $41,500 for their FY22 budget. The following budget wish list items were discussed:

• SWAG - $2,000 for the cost of shipping out of the store
• Content - $4,000 for Mailchimp (projected as newsletter expands). Website hosting estimate $1,500.
• Advertising - $5,000 for Twitter and $5,000 for Developer media.
• Design – may be able to pull from volunteers.
• Events - $20,000 sponsorships, $1,000 booth signage, $1,000 for storage and shipping and booth staff cost TBD.
• PR - $2,000 for E-release Press Release and Virtual consulting TBD

ACTIONS:

• Beth to present asks to board.
• Sara Faatz to research how much storage and shipping of booth materials would cost.
• Sara Faatz to create a spreadsheet for things the Foundation would want to sponsor.
• Sara Faatz to send an email to Sitefinity to connect the Marketing Committee for further discussions.

HIBP Project GTM

Working with the project committee and creating the Projects GTM checklist for projects seemed to work well for our fist incubator project.

HIBP Announcement with good press pickup. First time using e-release & will put in budget to use again.
