unfortunately i dont see the problems i see locally on mac on jenkins.
will try with linux locally

maybe this is also a diff with temurin and the openjdk on jenkins
no. its also green on my linux machine.

on my mac the project gets configured with java 8 jdk beeing native java 8 jdk
on linux the java 8 is backed by a java 17

with Java 15 also a Java 15 is picked here. so i assume there is still something missing in tycho and/or in pde

learned about https://download.eclipse.org/eclipse/updates/4.21-Y-builds/
looks better with that

all tests are fine with new 4.22-Ibuilds
