In the current App Directory ( app/home#/feature_directory ) linked in the Kibana Overview and Home page, there is no mention of the Alerting app, while there is one for Watcher.

We should add Alerting there in order to drive more adoption of the feature.

See if we should add the application to global search as well.

Spoke to Core UI and sounds like they're going to be doing some work for generic search within Stack Management that would make this redundant. When they're ready for us to do proper search within the alerting app, then we should pick this up again.
