Gabe Film's Code Of Conduct

Introduction

As contributors and maintainers of the project, we are committed to creating a friendly and inclusive environment for everyone involved. This code of conduct outlines our expectations for all participants, including developers, contributors, maintainers, and users. By participating in this project, you agree to abide by this code of conduct.

Expected behaviour

  1. Be respectful and considerate towards others. Treat all participants with kindness, professionalism, and empathy.
  2. Foster a collaborative and inclusive atmosphere. Encourage diverse opinions, perspectives, and experiences.
  3. Be patient and understanding, especially when providing feedback or engaging in discussions.
  4. Be open to constructive criticism and strive to improve the project based on feedback from others.
  5. Respect the privacy and personal boundaries of others. Do not engage in any form of harassment, discrimination, or offensive behaviour.
  6. Focus on the technical aspects of the project and avoid personal attacks, insults, or derogatory language.

Unacceptable behaviour

The following behaviors are considered unacceptable and will not be tolerated within the project:

  1. Harassment, discrimination, or any form of offensive behaviour, including but not limited to language, gestures, or imagery.
  2. Intentional disruption of discussions, threads, or the overall project with the aim of causing harm or discomfort to others.
  3. Publishing or sharing others' personal or sensitive information without their explicit consent.
  4. Engaging in any form of cheating, dishonesty, or unethical behaviour related to the project.
  5. Any other behaviour that goes against the principles of respect, inclusivity, and collaboration.

Reporting and enforcement

  1. If you witness or experience any violations of this code of conduct, promptly report them to the project maintainers.
  2. All reports will be treated with the utmost confidentiality and will be thoroughly investigated.
  3. The project maintainers reserve the right to take appropriate action, including but not limited to warnings, temporary bans, or permanent removal from the project, based on the severity and frequency of the violation.
