Running meteor is stucked at "Downloading webapp@1.5.0"

Has anyone got the issue that when cd into the app folder and run "meteor", it just got to "downloading webapp@1.5.0..." and the spinner's spinning forever? I'm currently running Meteor version 1.6.1. Any help is much appreciated.

Hi, if you are a windows user, please try to disable Windows Defender while you install your packages for the first time, as it is a general recommendation from Meteor team.

That's quite lame, but it seems to be the only way around.
