After authentication you just mail the GPX or TCX file.

The URL you provided is not giving any detail, just asking me to subscribe, which I'm not going to do (others might).

If what is needed is just sending the GPX or TCX file via email, are you asking that this is handled at the end of the workout by RunnerUp, as opposed to (say) just email them yourself? RunnerUp can be already configured to store these files in a directory, where you can go with your file browser and "share" them by sending them by email.

Sorry about that, didn't know that requires sign-in. Yes, I am asking to be handled automatically. I suggested email as a quick workaround (needs to be send with the same From: as the one registered)
although there is an api too if you prefer to do it properly.

Thank you for your consideration.

The simple upload is to share from edit activity. Will have to be done manually and smashrun email will have to be typed

The interface allows both upload and download similar to RunKeeper
The API seem to allow upload of cadence and other extra data not supported by RK
But if tcx/gpx is used instead of .json it is easier to base an implementation on for instance Strava
