Artist lost funds using KodaDot teleport

An artist (Artur) approached me that he lost funds while using our teleport today. Can anyone tell me what happened? And why it happened?

Explanation from him:

1. I had about $70 in my Talisman wallet account! I placed part of the money, namely 6.5274 DOT, into staking!
2. The other part, namely KSM, was about $20 dollars, I brought it to Kusama through TeleportBridge (KusamaHub -> Kusama)!
   Attention! Now I have the account in my Talisman wallet like on the screenshot! Where is all the KSM money????

This is something that cannot keep happening on our platform, people losing funds using our feature is ridiculous. We need to have countermeasures against losing funds via teleport/transfer. It's even worse because this person already lost his funds a few months ago using our Teleport - I thought we mitigated this problem.

This is sadly related to a bug that has been on Kusama since the last runtime update.
I have already reported this to Parity a while back and the fix is being issued in a few days in runtime v1.1.2.
