widget does not automatically update temperature after set refresh time

Hi,

first of all, I really love the app.
But I just noticed, that the automatic update of the temperature in the widget happens quite unregularly. I first set the standard time of an 1 hour refresh-interval: The widget updated the temperature automatically only a very few times per day.
Now I tried a refresh-time of 30minutes in the settings: The widget updates more often! But still not very regulary: Sometimes after 30 minutes, but most of the time after 2-3 hours. I'm sure that the temperature often changed already, because when I tap on the widget after - lets say - 2 hours, it immediatly updates the temperature and its totally different.
I don't use the battery-saver-function and I also experienced this on another device. Installed the latest Version via F-Droid.

Does someone else experience this?

edit: It seems, that forecastie is not in active development anymore right? Is it still a good idea to use it?
