pac solution import - Error: Error while copying content to a stream.

Executing the pac solution import command. After connecting to the Dataverse environment the solution import command immediately fails with the following error:

Connected as <UPN>
Connected to... <Environment name>

    Error while copying content to a stream.
        Unable to write data to the transport connection: An existing connection was forcibly closed by the remote host..
            An existing connection was forcibly closed by the remote host.

This issue only occurs on Windows. If I install the dotnet tool in Ubuntu on WSL and run the command from there, everything works fine.
