Describe the bug
For exercises (not assessments), the exercise is getting marked as complete after getting the response from /completedContent, so the previous exercise is not shown as completed.

To Reproduce
Steps to reproduce the behavior:

  1. Go to a pathway with non-assessment exercises
  2. Click on Next a couple of times
  3. Observe that the previous exercise is not marked as complete.

Expected behavior
Exercise should be marked as complete indicated with a dark green disk.
