Why would you expect them there? Docs are online, they aren't really useful on a cryptic location. And examples aren't of any use installed in the local workstation.

I'd like to add python-social-auth to Fedora and I have found it usual to use pypi tarballs as source tarbals for RPM packages. But it is also usual that such tarballs contain this stuff, which may be provided as -doc subpackage.
My current SRPM contains tarball from github, which is quite suitable, so You may take this just like a suggestion.

@misli, thanks for the recommendation, still I think (and it's usually expected from python packages) to just carry the application and tests.

Thanks for your work on adding it to Fedora.
