can i specify a random ip as router lb front vip like switch lb

hi, i want to know if i can specify a random ip as router lb front vip like switch lb,

I tested swtich lb, the lb vip could be any ip address (exclude 169.254).
if the router lb vip could be used like this ??

as you can see, if i set the router lb front vip from the vlan external public ip, i can access the external endpoint accessfully.

but i can not acccess the same external ip inside the vpc subnet pod. which means, the external ip (vpc router lb vip:port) can only accessed from the out side (the vpc outside).

and also, i can access the inside endpoint (which the ip is random allocate inside the vpc subnet)
