Before filing a new issue, please provide the following information.

I'm running:

  • Parity client version: 1.11.8 stable (also tried on 1.10.7)
  • Parity UI version: 0.3.4
  • Operating system: Linux
  • Installed via: Parity: deb; UI: tar
  • Fully synchronized: yes
  • Network: private
  • I tried to restart both Parity UI and Parity Ethereum client: yes

Your issue description goes here below. Try to include actual vs. expected behavior and steps to reproduce the issue.

I connect to the node with parity-ui. I see the familiar Parity UI screen. I click "Accounts" and I authorized viewing of accounts in the popup at the bottom. come to the accounts screen but it says "There are currently no accounts or addresses to display."

However on the command line I see 4 keys. I have verified that my chain spec file "dataDir" matches the directory under /keys where the keys are.

I am probably doing something really obviously wrong so if that is what's happening please tell me. If not then I think this is a serious issue.

hi, just to be sure that Parity UI connected to your node: is Parity UI displaying the same chain at the top right as the one you are connected to on the node ?

When you're on the Accounts page of Parity Wallet, can you press ctrl+shift+i to open the Parity UI console and check in the "Console" tab if there are any errors?

Good question. Yes, 100%. Same (unique, private) chain, same peer count.

When you're on the Accounts page of Parity Wallet, can you press ctrl+shift+i to open the Parity UI console and check in the "Console" tab if there are any errors?

Also a good question but I can't test it until I get past #201
