Some ideas for removing deprecated stuff in the codebase:

• After Remove inject.js server-side injection for dapps openethereum/parity-ethereum#8539 gets merged, we won't be able to use Parity UI in the browser anymore. We can remove all <iframes>, if (isElectron())...
• Remove all Rust files
• Use yarn.lock instead of package-lock.json?

Misc dapps stuff

In an effort to move all things dapps into the shell and away from Parity:

• Move built-in dapps info from @parity/shared to @parity/shell: remove this folder from @parity/shared and instead have a JSON file in @parity/shell with the built-in dapps info. => Move Dapps files from @parity/shared ; display icons of builtin dapps from filesystem #114 Remove Dapps files (moved to shell) shared#7
• Remove the distinction between builtin dapps and views dapps (in @parity/shell and @parity/ui): both should be called builtin dapps. => Remove 'views' dapps (merge into 'builtin') #113 Remove dappsViews (merge into dappsBuiltIn) shared#6
• Handle Parity Wallet like any other dapp; it should not be served by Parity but be listed in dappsBuiltin. => Add dapp-wallet to built-in dapps; load it from fs #126
• Once done, remove wallet dapp from parity node. => Remove UI related settings from CLI openethereum/parity-ethereum#8783
• Update @parity/ui DappIcon to serve the dapp icons locally using file:// for built-in/local dapps (fixes Fix icon not showing up in shell dapp-develop#3) => Move Dapps files from @parity/shared ; display icons of builtin dapps from filesystem #114 DappIcon: Use filesystem path directly for icons of builtin dapps ui#9
• Local dapps should be handled completely by Parity UI.
  • Parse and load local dapps from filesystem => Parse and load local dapps directly from filesystem #141
  • Remove dappsList call and remove dappsList from Parity RPC and @parity/api
• Network dapps should be completely handled by Parity UI.
• Parity node: remove all ui/dapps stuff from Parity (+ update parity config gen)
• Remove Rust files from shell
• We would have three types of dapps: local dapps (located in .config/parity-ui/dapps; they are either already built or served in development mode on a specific port by webpack), network (.config/parity-ui/hashfetch), builtin ([parity-ui-build-path]/dapps). Document this (wiki), as well as the script injection and dapp development workflow (using localUrl with electron:dev). Update the outdated wiki entries (e.g. inject.js, dapps path).
• Remove parity ui completely as dapps do not work in the browser anymore since Remove inject.js server-side injection for dapps openethereum/parity-ethereum#8539 (& remove associated CLI args) => Remove UI related settings from CLI openethereum/parity-ethereum#8783
• Once done, remove browser-specific code from shell

Dapps should be completely handled by the shell; Parity should play no role.

Some documentation in the wiki about the way dapps work now would be nice. (no need to inclure inject.js anymore ; local dapps location ; dapp development experience with localUrl)

I unchecked Once done, remove browser-specific code from shell.

There are a couple of isElectron() that could be removed. Also, iframes can be removed.
