The API documentation client has had an upstream major update (see new demo). This brings a faster and cleaner UI, and supports more of the OpenAPI spec (version 2 now, which we use).

Also, plugins are introduced, we could move our hacks to proper plugins instead (like swagger-api/swagger-ui#1743 (comment)).
