I know, but my point was that lt20's updated link was wrong. The update window gives me that: https://www.fosshub.com/qBittorrent.html?dwl=qbittorrent_4.6.4_x64_setup.exe Correct: https://www.fosshub.com/qBittorrent.html?dwl=qbittorrent_4.6.4_lt20_qt6_x64_setup.exe Since lt12 and lt20 are now built in parallel, there should be a link for each variant to the update that applies to that variant, rather than the default version. |
The current version check doesn't/can't determine if libtorrent 1.2.x or 2.0.x is in use, it just checks if a new version is available & downloads the default set on the main site which was changed to libtorrent 1.2.x as previously stated. @sledgehammer999 Is there anything we can do about this (version check)?? - the transition to |

qBittorrent & operating system versions
OS: Windows 11 (10.0.22xxx)
Qt: 6.4.3
Libtorrent: 2.0.11.0
Boost: 1.84.0
OpenSSL: 1.1.1w
zlib: 1.3.1
What is the problem?
I was willing to try libtorrent 2.0, so I installed the qB lt20 variant on Windows 11.
However, I found that the update link, as prompted by qB, is still the default version (lt12).
