Describe the bug
Current master branch:

$ python3.12 -m venv environ
$ . ./environ/bin/activate
$ cd pyobjc-core
$ python setup.py develop
$ python -c 'import objc'

Result: Segmentation fault.

Platform information

  • Python version: 3.12a7
  • How was python installed (python.org, anaconda, homebrew, ...): python.org
  • macOS version: 13.4b3
