Using DallE2, create four versions (hamlets, villages, towns, and cities) of each of the following terrain locations in the digital watercolour style:

Temperate

  • seashore
  • forest
  • river coast
  • hills
  • plains
  • mountains

Tropical

  • seacoast
  • forest
  • river coast
  • jungle
  • volcanic field
  • hills
  • plains
  • mountains

Arid

  • oasis
  • river coast
  • desert
  • wasteland
  • hills
  • plains
  • mountains

Polar

  • seacoast
  • forest
  • river coast
  • hills
  • plains
  • mountains
  • tundra
  • ice sheet

For a total of 116 images. The selected image should be saved to "My Collection" in DallE2. If the image would look better as a landscape image, use the inpainting tool to accomplish that (and download the resultant image as they aren't saved). You don't need to make note of the prompts as they are saved by adding the image to My Collection. If in doubt, save to My Collection- can always have variants!

You'll need to use some creative writing skills to accomplish good results; "hamlet around arid oasis" won't get as good results as "An early morning in a small hamlet built around an oasis. People are working before the sun rises high in the sky." Paint a scene with words, and DallE will paint the image to match.

Example prompts:
