When I search with sag "import linux_net", the second word of the pattern so only "import" is searched for.

$ sag "import linux_net" | wc -l
ERR: Error stat()ing: linux_net
ERR: Error opening directory linux_net: No such file or directory
5950

$ sag "linux_net" | wc -l
82

I guess you're just missing a couple of quotes when you pass the pattern to ack/ag.
