Frequently Asked Questions

Can this cause data corruption?

Possibly, however it's very unlikely. Unlike a few other popular packs like Fabulously Optimized, this pack uses a few experimental mods, mainly C2ME, so if you want to ensure stability, remove that.

How can I provide feedback?

If you want to talk about the pack or have any questions, please use the Discord server! However, if you are asking for a feature to be added or giving a bug report, use the issue tracker instead. Thanks!

How is the performance?

Out of the box, it should maintain a stable 60 FPS, although it can go much higher. The pack limits framerate by default because the Steam Deck's internal refresh rate is 60. Most modern shaders run great too! DeckCraft comes with a few pre-configured shaders so that you don't need to install them separately.

For shaders, I personally recommend using MakeUp, as it looks great (highly configurable too) and performs very well.

Can I make a modpack with this?

Yes, you can! Feel free to use this in any way you want! If you are making something public with this like a modpack, all I ask for is credit somewhere. You don't have to give credit - after all it's just a Minecraft modpack, but I spend lots of time maintaining this and it would help a ton. If you do want to give credit, just put the Modrinth page in there.
