A complex GUI would be nice!

It would also be nice to (optionally) have the launcher be a fully self-contained GUI program like the official launcher, with access to tweak not only the launcher configuration options, but also manage the configuration currently coded in to the runescape script (e.g. OpenGL compatibility version), perhaps try to offer warnings about system configuration problems (known-bad drivers and configurations, missing dependencies, missing pulseaudio).

This would most likely be through a second binary which replaces the runescape shell script, rather than functionality embedded in to the nxtlauncher program.
