Bindings changed without installing starter-kit-bindings

I install starter-kit-lisp but not starter-kit-bindings.
starter-kit-lisp changes the functionality of C- and C- for moving parenthesis instead of the usual "move the pointer one word" forward or backwards.

Shouldn't that hook be implemented in the bindings package?

Maybe this is not an issue and I'm missing something.
In that case, how can I enjoy all the features of starter-kit-lisp without modifying any key binding?
