Can't use link inside panel

Hi,
I was trying to use a link (<> and syntax) within a panel, but the first doesn't get rendered and the second just shows the raw text instead of the clickable link.

Markdown syntax is valid with % delimiter.
<> delimiter returns raw text or HTML.
