Is your feature request related to a problem? Please describe.

Check for HDCP support before loading levels that cannot be played without error or will not be displayed.

Describe the solution you'd like

Use HDCP Policy Check https://wicg.github.io/hdcp-detection/ MediaKeys.getStatusForPolicy when available to set maxHdcpLevel and/or filter levels that cannot be played/displayed.

  • Is it available on Chrome desktop devices? What about other browsers? (it "worth" implementing)
  • Map HDCP-LEVELs to HDCP Policy HDCP Versions
  • Valid test cases contributed by users
