Hi Jackson, thanks for pointing out this problem.

This theme is intended to be minimalistic and essential, therefore it takes for granted that there are no pinned extension icons. Hence, you should reach them by clicking on the extensions button.

If you want to remove the extension icons that are currently pinned, you might notice that it seems impossible because the tab bar is on top of them. To do it, you need to open the Browser Toolbox (hamburger menu in the top right > More tools > Browser Toolbox). Upon opening, you can meddle with the CSS by increasing the z-index of each icon. The purpose is to temporarily bring the icons on top, right click them, and unpin them.

I am keeping this issue open to consider adding this explanation to the README.
