i think it is a nice feature to automaticaly merge chapters from title with the same name.

Often, I have audiobooks with, for example, 10 tracks per chapter. It would be great if we had one chapter with these 10 tracks instead of 10 chapters with the same title.

I assume you know that you could do it manually, in chapters mode. just selecting chapters and pressing combine, so all those chapters will be merged into single chapter with all tracks in single chapter.
If you talking about autmatic merge of chapters - what will be indicator that tracks belong to same chapter? chapter name? which is in fact tag "title" from mp3 file? I would not go that route, as I quite often seen books where title of chapter was just name of the book as order was driven by filenames....

More often I saw the following, which could be proccessed for auto merge...

By the way naming of chapters in title tag was: Chapter 1-01... Chapter 1-02... etc
