The drag and drop works fine in firefox but not in google chrome.

i'll try to check why. any other info you can provide?

If I use print screen key for screenshot and (ctrl+v) paste it in the editor, nothing happens in chrome but the same works in firefox.

This might be something related to browser capabilities rather than the editor itself. I had a quick check and the image cropping works ok.
