In Portal 1 chambers the Retractable Pedestal Buttons does not submit its output when the timer is set to infinite. It works when set on a timer. It accepts input, and will appear when it receives the proper input. It also retracts back into the floor when pressed, when set to infinite, as is normal for these buttons, but it does not submit its output to the receiver. It doesn't look or sound like the button is actually pressed when using it either.

rl_close cancels rl_open's outputs, so it needs to be delayed.
