Lookout is a user-friendly, modern Progressive Web Application that revolutionises how nature enthusiasts, conservationists and hikers interact with and share information about their experiences in the outdoors. Lookout addresses the gap in current technologies that fail to provide effective methods of allowing a user to locate and mark points of interest and further incorporate these features with modern, newer technologies. Thus, an opportunity arose to develop an innovative application that meets the needs of these communities by providing a robust and user-friendly platform for geo-tagging, sharing information, community engagement and fostering safety and awareness.
