in order to decode the jwt auth bearer token

mostly from the previous replacement of snake&camel case
- required env variables at top of file - requires backend server to be running already - tokens (might) only last for a single run of the server. in other words, if the server app stops you'll probably need to generate a new token
also fixed incorrect relative imports (detected by webpack)
and fixed linting
