  • Verify which content we're trying to move
  • Perform a test migration of Voices of NY content

""CUNY-era" just refers to everything before we took Voices over last summer, so, no, no date filter. We'd want to know the pricetag for moving everything. We are not sure whether we will do so or not."

Do we know where this site is hosted, and do we have access to it?

Also, @benlk had a few questions on the original #84 (comment)

What sort of import are they looking for?

post content and images
categories too?
create a "voices of ny" category and assign all imported material to that category?
set up Voices of NY as a microsite?

From Slack:

We need to give them an estimate for importing the content, so this issue is to do a test migration as specified and likely give them some options, determine if we need to do styling, etc.

Posts and images for now since we're just testing

But it looks like we're still waiting on better user privileges on their site since as it stands we can't even edit posts.

Our Labs account now has admin access, so this is no longer blocked.

@MirandaEcho After importing all posts from May 2019 (the most recent month with published content) to my local environment, I don't see anything noticeably wrong. Should I import these to the staging environment for them to take a look at?

Posts from May 2019 on Voices of NY have been imported to staging.

Here's an example article @MirandaEcho:
